Amazing I’m disappointed with this book as it could have been so much better. I’m not really sure who it’s aimed at as it’s definitely not suitable for those completely new to exercise. I do not like the layout of this book and you are constantly flicking from page to page. The major drawback is that you are told to do an exercise e.g. ‘incline press’ and you then have to go hunting around the book to find out how to do the exercise. It would have been so much better if there was a page number reference in brackets after the exercise. There is also an expectation that you will have a home gym or access to a gym – both totally unrealistic, that’s why we’ve bought the book! Also an expectation that you’ll spend money on various health tests e.g. cholesterol tests etc, again totally unrealistic. However on the plus side, I like having a target, 12 weeks and I’m sticking to the exercise parts (and substituting other exercises due to lack of gym equipment). I’m also ignoring the diet plan…
